I go to work every day thinking that
Will there be enough staff for the shift?
I know there won't be enough staff
In the shift due to staff shortage
This went on for many days and I go to work
With night mares and I decided to stop
I went to have a meeting with my manager
And discussed the shortage of staff.
Still not happy to recruit many staff as there
Is a lot of financial pressure from top
I thought of whistle blowing this issue
To the press and I did it anonymously.
The next day I heard that there is
A recruitment drive arranged for a day
I was happy and we got plenty of staff,
I wonder what happened to the financial pressure.
Won't they consider this in planning?
Or will they just left that out
Many unanswered questions in my mind,
But I thought why to bother with questions now.
